Christmas in July at Tri-City Raceway Park

(Franklin, PA July 19, 2023): Ho! Ho! Ho! Tri-City Raceway Park will celebrate Christmas in July this Sunday, July 16, with a Sunday Thunder program for all to enjoy. Every person dressed in Christmas attire will receive free popcorn. So, pull out those ugly sweaters and grab your Santa’s cap before heading to the track!

The racers will be ready for high speed adventure because there has been no action on the speedway for two weeks.

The Diehl Chevrolet 410 Sprint Cars will top the card, of course. A.J. Flick has the point lead over Bob Felmlee, but there will be plenty of competition from Jack Sodeman, Jr., Brandon Spithaler, Jeremy Weaver, and others. Nathan McDowell now has his car ready, and he is expected to be in the field.

In the Pitt Stop Pub 368 Modified ranks, the question on everybody’s mind is whether young Ayden Cipriano can hold off veteran Jimmy Holden. Tom Holden, Eric Beggs, Chad Reitz, and many more will be in contention. Last weekend, a number of New York pilots were in the area. Will they be at Tri-City Raceway Park, too? You need to be there to see for yourself!

The Hovis Auto & Truck Supply Pro Stocks have presented some of the most intense racing on the big half mile this season. Tyler Wyant has held the winning hand most often, but Pat Fielding, Russ Coyne, Charlie McMillen, and others will go all in for this one.

Matt Urey and Levi Maskal have driven their Hondas to the front in most of the 4 Your Car Connection Four Cylinder Mini Stock races, but don’t count out Thomas Warren, Chad Greeley, Joe Campbell, Bill Fuchs, and many more.

The pit gates will be open at 2 p.m., and spectator gates will welcome the fans at 4 p.m. The racing will begin at 6 p.m.

Regular event ticket pricing will apply. So, adults will be admitted for $15, and seniors (ages 62 and up) for $13. Student admission (ages 10 to 16) will also be $13. Children (under age 10) will be admitted for free. The Family Pass will be available for $45, and that will be good for two adults of any age and two students. Pit passes will be $30.

If you cannot make it to the track for Christmas in July, be ready for the FAST on Dirt 410 Sprint challenge on July 23. The other Sunday Thunder divisions will also be in action.

Coming up on Sunday, July 30 will be a demolition derby and enduro race.
