Rain Claims Another Round at Tri-City Raceway Park; Schedule Change Announced

(Franklin, PA August 6, 2023):  There is no doubt who has taken the most wins at Tri-City Raceway Park this season. The rain wiped out another Sunday Thunder program.

Racing will continue on Sunday, August 13, but there will be an important schedule change.

The Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series will not be competing next weekend. The non-wing Sprint tour was unable to find a dancing partner to race the night before the Tri-City event. Due to travel expenses for most of the non-wing racers, series director Aaron Fry likes to have back-to-back shows to make the trip east more economical for his loyal followers. When nothing materialized, Fry decided to cancel the race at Tri-City.

The Diehl Chevrolet 410 Sprint Cars will replace the B.O.S.S. Sprints. So, fans will still get to see open wheel racing during the next show.

The Pitt Stop Pub 358 Modifieds will be on hand, as planned, along with the Hovis Auto & Truck Supply Pro Stocks and the 4 Your Car Connection Four Cylinder Mini Stocks.

There will be just three regular season events at Tri-City Raceway Park leading into the big Labor Day weekend. Details will be forthcoming soon.
